Case Studies

SCADA System

Design and implementation of a SCADA system for a 200MLD water treatment plant. The system monitored and controlled the water quality parameters and also the low side demand of water supply.

Thermal Storage in HVAC

Designed and implemented a Thermal Storage system based HVAC system in a large 5-star Hotel. The Thermal Storage was used to reduce the initial CAPEX and facilitated use of night time tariff for cost savings.

Waste Heat recovery for Hot Water Generation

Replaced individual hot water geysers in a large Hospital with a centralized hot water system. New screw chillers having desuperheater were installed. The desuperheater helped in recovering the heat from the super-heated refrigerant gas at the compressor outlet which was used to generate hot water in the centralised hot water tank.

Asset Replacement Strategy

Conducted HVAC and Electrical Health Assessment of the existing assets in a tall multi-tenanted building. Based on the measured values and efficiencies, replacement and/or refurbishment strategies were proposed.

Solar Pumps for Irrigation

Designed and implemented a solar based pumping system for lifting water from a river 1500m below the village. The pumped water was stored in a tank, which was then fed by gravity to drip irrigation network of the tribal village.

Material Recycling Facility

Design and implementation of a recycling facility for handling city waste. The system was designed for IGBC green rating using solar energy and use of ozone and mechanical ventilation for good indoor air quality.

Smart Township

Designed and implemented a fully eco-friendly township spread over 150 acres. The site was designed for zero discharge through effective rainwater harvesting, extreme recyling of water and charging the sub-soil.

Process Re-engineering

Based on asset assessment in a pharmaceutical plant, energy savings were obtained by minor changes in process flow and reduction of maximum demand through staggered operations.

Green H2 Energy Prototype

Prototype simulating all aspects of a commercial building powered by green H2. Stage 1 utilizes commercially proven technologies, whilst Stage 2 allows for “plug & play” of novel technologies to benchmark performance.
